Bookings

• Members who pay the overseas subscription rate do not have booking rights.
• Members who are not financial (who haven’t paid their sub) do not have booking rights.
• You may only hold three bookings at one time.
• Minimum booking of 2 nights over weekends.
• In August and September there is a limit of 10 per party.
• All members may take non-member guests subject to available bunk space.  As a member you are responsible for guests during their stay.
• Non-members may not be booked in the school holidays. The booking officer may make an exception to this rule if a booking is made within a week of the required dates and there is enough space.
• Any member taking non-members is responsible for them.
• Members’ children: minimum 3 years of age, except for pre-school week.
• Non-members’ children: minimum 5 years of age, except for pre-school week.
• Last Minute Bookings
  Please enquire firstly by emailing bookings@puketoi.org.nz or phoning 027 2416870 with names and dates. This is available even if you already have three bookings. Payment is expected immediately after confirmation.

Dates

• School holidays
  The winter school holidays are each divided into 4 periods of 4 nights, giving 5 days skiing for each family. During these school holidays, bookings must match one of these periods. Two weeks prior to the holidays part of a period will be considered for bookings. Non-members will be considered for bookings at this time, as well.  
• Pre-school week
  Sunday to Friday, first week after July school holidays. No minimum age for children.
• Geriatric week
  Sunday to Friday, early September. For people aged 25 years and over.
• Committee weekend
  Before or after Geriatric week. It is child free, apart from committee members’ children.
• Summer season
  We wish to encourage groups to use the hut in the summer  (e.g. school parties, business and corporate groups, tramping and camera clubs). Please apply to the booking officer bookings@puketoi.org.nz for a quote.

Refunds for cancellations

To qualify for a refund, you must notify the booking officer of your cancellation by 7pm, 3 days before the first day of your booking.

Payment

• Make sure bookings are paid in full within 2 weeks of making the booking otherwise, unfortunately, the booking will be lost.
• Pay by Internet Banking. The account details will be emailed to you when the booking is confirmed.
• Please add "booking", your name and booking number to the particulars, code and reference fields.
